Editor’s Note: It’s been a while since the 2011 list has been updated, which I apologize for. I plan on having it up to date by the end of the week, so look for a lot of updates in the mean time. — el niño diablo.

  • Viaje Skull and Bones “?” Ships — There are two version of the cigar, one is box-pressed with what appears to be a different wrapper. Both are 4 1/2 x 54. The box-pressed version is offered in an all black box with a matte black band, whereas the non box-pressed features the regular black and white Skull and Bones band. There are 250 boxes of the non box-pressed and just 125 box-pressed.
  • Rocky Patel 50th Ships — Orange boxes for Rocky’s birthday. A lot of Rocky haters should at least give it a try, remember I called it then most talked about cigar at IPCPR 2011.
  • Litto Gomez Small Batch No.4 & La Flor Dominicana Factory Press IV — If there aren’t any delays, La Flor Dominicana believes both should be released in December. Story is here.
  • E.P. Carrillo Short Run 2010 No.4 — These are going to Rick Gadway’s Federal Cigar in December, story is here.
  • La Aurora 107 Maduro — It’s made its appearance at a few events and should be shipping shortly. It would seem that La Aurora has finally gotten the Oscuro wrapper to cooperate, the long-suspected reason for the delay.
  • Ramón Allones Petit Robusto (ER Israel) Released — As per Trevor Leask.
  • Bolivar Emperador (ER Russia) Released — That would seem to be the word from Top Cigars.
  • Juan Lopez Distingudos (ER Germany) ReleasedAlso released.
  • XIV Festival del Habano Dates — February 27, 2012 to March 2, 2012. ProCigar dates (it’s the week before) were announced last week, no word on whether we are going to see a third Nicaraguan Festival or second Humo Jaguar (Honduras), but Cuba’s festival will honor Cohiba and Romeo y Julieta. More info here. The UK’s Habanosommelier contestant was crowned this past week.
