Editor’s Note: Apologies for what is the second time in a year and half the news is late. It’s not a great news week as nearly every company has shut down. Lots of new stuff for 2012 coming, but lots of stuff still to workout. Anyways, after the jump, a far less exciting rendition of the weekly news. — el niño diablo.

  • My Father Limited Edition Humidor — José Ortega says that they shipped the first order of these to various retailers. They are identical to the two that sold at auction at Nicaraguan Cigar Festival with the exception that each of those included three My Father Salomons and a branded Xikar lighter and cutter.
  • E.P. Carrillo Elencos Oscuro — EPC shipped a few boxes of the Elite (6 x 54) to select retailers. We will see more boxes, as well as three other sizes next year. We broke the story here.
  • 262 Manifesto — Clint Aaron’s limited project will launch February 7, 2011 at City Place Cigar, which marks half a century since JFK signed the Cuban embargo.

  • Ortega Serie D No. 7 — Here’s Eddie Ortega’s new project. Pricing is supposed to be in the $6-7 range.
  • Padrón SI-15 To Be Regular Production — Word from thegarshop, a blog with close ties to Smoke Inn, seems to suggest that these will be regular production soon. We reviewed both the Maduro and Natural.
  • Marco V MVNFUZE — The newest line’s details are here.
  • Adrian’s CroMagnon 2011 Cubes — Only 111 will be released, and there’s a contest. Details here.
  • Charmed Leaf Opens Retail Location — Elissa Noyes’ retail shop, which focuses on true boutique cigars, opened their retail location last weekend, store hours and info here.
  • Rocky Patel Cigar Cruise — Five days with Rocky in April. Details here.
  • La Gloria Cubana Obelisco In Five-Packs — There’s a good chance this isn’t new news, but in the interest of full disclosure, here’s the link to CA.
  • TTAB Decision on Tatuaje v. Tattoo — The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board was not impressed with Nicaraguan Imports (Cuban Crafters) defense of their attempts to register “Tattoo”, this is the same dispute that spawned the Tatuaje Tattoo earlier.
