Watch: The Consensus Top 25 Cigars of 2020 (12:00 P.M. CST)

For the 10th consecutive year, halfwheel presents The Consensus.

A decade ago I wondered what would happen if I took all of the various best cigars lists published by blogs, magazines, podcast and YouTubers and tried to make sense of what it all meant. Would there be a clear #1 cigar? Would certain cigars do well with the magazines but not the blogs? Would anyone else care?

Sometimes. Sometimes. Sometimes.

I ended up creating one of the more involved annual projects at halfwheel, something that combines lots of keystrokes in Microsoft Excel and lots of time looking at various blogs most people have never heard of. For all of the commentary that surrounds the best cigars lists that are put out by various members of the media, little of it is ever done with any basis in math. The Consensus is a notable exception.

Watch below as I unveil the Top 25 and try to provide a bit of educated commentary, all with the technical difficulties that seem to always happen.
