Warped’s new Flor del Valle Seleccion de Valle will debut at this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

The Seleccion de Valle is a 6 x 52 vitola that features a 109-style cap, a slightly tapered head that is a hybrid between a traditional cap and a belicoso. It will be priced at $12.98 and offered in boxes of 20.

Update — Warped has announced the name has changed from ‘Ghost Orchid’ to ‘Seleccion de Valle’ due to a trademark issue. Gurkha has a trademark on Ghost.

Flor del Valle debuted in 2014, the first line from the company made in Nicaragua. It uses a corojo 99 wrapper from Jalapa, corojo 99 and criollo 98 binders and Nicaraguan fillers.

Kyle Gellis, Warped’s founder, told halfwheel the size is a regular production extension and will ship following the trade show, which begins June 29 in Las Vegas.

Update (April 15, 2019) — Warped has changed the name of this cigar due to a trademark conflict. This story was originally published on April 3.

Davidoff is the official sponsor of halfwheel's coverage of the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
