Warped has announced that Serie Gran Reserva 1988 is ready for release.

In a post on Instagram, Kyle Gellis, the company’s founder, mentioned that the cigar is now “released,” though in an email with halfwheel  he later clarified that “shipping will commence post IPCPR.” The 2018 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins July 13 in Las Vegas.

Serie Gran Reserva 1988 was shown off at last year’s trade show and was originally discussed as a late 2017 release. That date came and went and Gellis later described some of the delays. As for the cigar, it’s a single 5 1/4 x 50 size made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. Production is handled by Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.

One change from when the cigar was announced last year is the price, it’s now $9 per cigar instead of the $10 that was originally announced.
