Another blast from the past is heading to shelves in 2017.

This time it’s La Flor de Ynclan, a brand from Villiger that was discontinued a handful of years ago.

According to Cigar Aficionado the company will launch the updated line at the 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show next month.

The blend has been reworked by Heinrich Villiger, chairman of the board of Villiger Soehne AG, and Jose Matias Maragoto of ABAM Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic. It now uses an Ecuadorian wrapper, Indonesian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

There will be three sizes of La Flor de Ynclan, each coming in 25-count boxes.

  • La Flor de Ynclan Robusto (5 x 50) — $11 (Boxes of 25, $275)
  • La Flor de Ynclan Torpedo (6 x 52) — $12 (Boxes of 25, $300)
  • La Flor de Ynclan Churchill (7 x 48) — $12 (Boxes of 25, $300)

A spokesperson for the company declined to comment citing an exclusivity agreement with Cigar Aficionado.

The 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show begins July 11 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Update: An earlier version of this post indicated the 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show began on July 21, it begins on July 11. Images, pricing and blend notes were added to this story on June 16 after Villiger issued a press release about the line. Images courtesy of Villiger.
