There will be a 2018 version of the Viaje Zombie.

STOGIES World Class Cigars, a Houston retailer, has taken delivery of a new release of the Viaje Zombie, two in fact. The store received 20-count boxes of a 5 x 52 cigar in both Habano and Maduro wrappers.

Beyond that, and a price of $11.80 per cigar, not much is known about the cigar. A Viaje spokesperson declined to comment about the blend, how many were made or where they are made.

While the Zombie name has been a relatively consistent fixture for the company, the actual Zombie release has not. The last time we wrote about a proper Zombie release was in 2016, which was the first time that the company had shipped the cigar to more than just a handful of retailers.

Prior to that, the release was limited to just a couple of stores. It’s unclear how many stores are receiving the release this year.
