The next iteration of the Viaje Skull and Bones Red will be shipping to stores “soon.”

Viaje’s social media account posted a picture of a box of Skull and Bones Red, a sign that the company was planning on shipping the cigar. A spokesperson for the company declined to provide any details on the cigar—or if other new cigars would ship with it—but did confirm that the cigar would ship “soon.”

The most recent Skull and Bones Red shipped in early 2016 and was a dramatic departure for the series. At the time Viaje was producing an increased number of cigars with PDR Cigars, and that include that batch of Skull and Bones Red. The vast majority of Skull and Bones have been produced in either Honduras or Nicaragua.

Update (Sept. 15, 2019) — Retailers have begun emailing about the arrival of three cigars: Little Boy (4 1/4 x 52; Box of 25, $226), Fat Man (4 1/4 x 56; Box of 25, $236) and Big Ivan (5 x 60; Box of 25, $262).
