Three different cigars, one box.

It is not a new concept for Viaje, though this time around it is the Exclusivo Petite Lancero that gets the treatment. The company has begun shipping 75-count boxes to its retailers that contain 25 cigars of three different blends: Exclusivo, Exclusivo Leaded and Exclusivo Nicaragua.

All three measures 6 x 40, a new vitola for the line, which now has over two dozen releases for the line.

Interestingly, two different factories—in two different countries—are responsible for producing the cigars.

Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) rolled the Exclusivo Nicaragua, which uses Nicaraguan tobacco from AGANORSA.

Raíces Cubanas in Honduras produced the other two cigars. The regular Exclusivo blend is also a Nicaraguan puro, using a criollo 98 wrapper. Leaded is also a Nicaraguan puro, though its modified to include medio tiempo tobacco, a high-priming leaf that is only found on certain tobacco plants.

A spokesperson for Viaje declined to comment on production numbers, but indicated that it will be available at all authorized Viaje retailers.
