The last of Viaje’s releases from this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show has made its way to stores.

Multiple retailers confirmed to halfwheel that the Viaje Collaboration 2015 is now on sale.

Viaje Collaboration 2015

The 6 x 52 toro uses an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, dual Dominican binders and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It’s being sold in boxes of 20, with each cigar coming in a coffin, and is limited to 600 boxes.

This is the second release under the Viaje Collaboration Series, an annual release where Viaje partners with a different manufacturers, or potentially retailers. This year’s Collaboration release is done with PDR Cigars, the same factory where many new Viajes have been produced this year. Last year, the company collaborated with Casa Fernández.

Suggested retail pricing for the new release is $12.80 per cigar.

Update (Oct. 8, 2015) — Two retailers told halfwheel that they had received the Collaboration 2015 and least one retailer began actively selling the cigar (though has since pulled it from its website), Viaje has informed halfwheel that the cigar was not to be made available for sale when it was shipped to two retailers last month. Earlier versions of this story described it as “several retailers” and “multiple retailers.”
