The Lotus Group/Integral Logistics has added pair of high-powered single flame torches to its Vertigo line.

The Vertigo Hades features a single action ignition with a locking single torch flame and large flame adjuster. It’s a free-standing table top model that measures 5 7/8″ tall, 4 1/8″ wide and 2 1/8″ thick. It’s encased in an all metal housing with an anodized finish and comes in three colors: black, red and blue. Each is priced at $24.99.

The Vertigo Zeus is a similar if slightly smaller design that offers both an extra large torch flame and a traditional soft flame that is accessed via a switch. It too offers a single action ignition with a locking mechanism to keep the flame burning hands-free, with a large flame adjuster to dial in the desired amount of fire. It measures 4 3/4″ tall, 3 5/8″ wide and 1 1/4″ thick and is offered in white and black or black and red. Both have an MSRP of $9.99.

Both models are currently shipping to retailers.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
