After spending a decade in the aging room, the VegaFina Reposado 10 Años will begin arriving at stores in Spain this month.

The Reposado 10 Años is the newest release from VegaFina, an international brand that is made at Tabacalera de García, the same Dominican factory that makes many releases for Altadis U.S.A. This release is noted for its age; Tabacalera S.L.U. says the cigars were aged for 10 years after they were rolled. The VegaFina Reposado 10 Años is a 5 1/2 x 54 robusto extra that uses a Mexican criollo wrapper over a binder and fillers from the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic.

In Spain, which will be the first country to receive the cigar, pricing is set at €7,50 ($8.11) per cigar; in Germany, it will be priced at €10 ($10.82) per cigar; and it will cost CHF 11,90 ($13.23) per cigar in Switzerland. Production is limited to 3,930 boxes of 10 cigars.

This is the first time this size has been used for a VegaFina release. One other interesting feature of the cigar is the foot band, which extends to cover the bottom of the cigar itself.

Like most VegaFina releases, it will not be sold in the U.S.
