Last night, at a party with Davidoff’s ambassadors Henke Kelner and his son, Klass Pieter Kelner, in attendance, Dallas’ Up In Smoke revealed a cigar for its 25th anniversary.
The Davidoff Up In Smoke 25th Anniversary Exclusive is a part of Davidoff’s retailer anniversary exclusive program, which allows appointed merchants to receive a special cigar for a major anniversary. Each year, Davidoff selects a new vitola, this year is a 6 x 52 belicoso, and five blends for the retailer to select from.
Up In Smoke selected a blend with an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed rojiza wrapper over a blend of a Dominican binder and Dominican fillers. The cigar is sold in boxes of 10 with pricing set at $25 per cigar.
Dan Schmitt, the store’s owner, told halfwheel he received 300 boxes.
Cigars International, Davidus Cigars, JR Cigar and Regency Cigar Emporium have announced their Davidoff Anniversary Exclusives.
