The New Skull & Bones

The Viaje Facebook logo went red, and rumor has it, so is the new Skull & Bones band. I’d presume the blend to be the same, but in a different size, but then again who knows. All I know is, the cigar hits Viaje accounts at the end of the month.

New Viaje Oro Reserva in April

I’ve heard from numerous retailers that Andre has told them that the V.O.R., which earned #2 on CA’s list last year, will be back. It’s unlikely that that the #5 will be the vitola, so for the next two months we can speculate.

Other Tidbits

The Viaje Exclusivo Chiquito, a 4 7/8 x 51 Figurado released solely to Tower Cigars in California and Cigar-ette City in Delaware, is also expected to ship some time in the next sixty days. Also hearing reports that the majority of the Viaje “core” line is back-ordered until September. For those that are Viaje retailers, this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, but for everyone else, this could be confusing. Andre Farkas’ business strategy is 90% LE, 10% regular production – so, expect more LEs for the time being. — el niño diablo.
