The first product of Rafael Nodal’s tenure at Altadis U.S.A. has emerged.

It’s called the Trinidad Santiago. Both Nodal and Altadis U.S.A. have posted images of the cigar, with Nodal indicating that it will be a Dominican puro made at Tabacalera Palma.

The cigar uses Dominican habano tobacco for its wrapper, binder and filler. It will be offered in three sizes.

  • Trinidad Santiago Toro (6 x 54) — $9.40 (Boxes of 20, $188)
  • Trinidad Santiago Belicoso (6 x 52) — $9.90 (Boxes of 20, $198)
  • Trinidad Santiago Corona (5 x 48) — $8.90 (Boxes of 20, $178)

Altadis U.S.A. will formally release the cigar the first week of October.

Tabacalera Palma is the factory of choice for most of Nodal’s cigars for his own Boutique Blends brand. Earlier this year, the two companies announced that Altadis U.S.A would take over distributing for Boutique Blends while Nodal would work for Altadis U.S.A. in a brand development role.

This isn’t the first time the trio has worked together. In 2015, Altadis U.S.A. released the ROMEO by Romeo y Julieta Aging Room Small Batch F25, a cigar blended by Nodal, made at Tabacalera Palma and sold by Altadis U.S.A.
