Borrowing from how Brooks Whittington summed up the AVO Syncro Caribe in his review, it’s “creamy, complex and nicely balanced,” words that only begin to give an idea of what the cigar has to offer. When thinking of the word Caribe, it might invoke thoughts of sweet fruits and drinks, and the cigar has a good bit of sweetness as well, along with a decent amount of white pepper and spice that gives it a profile that is a seemingly perfect match to what its name might conjure up.

It’s a vibrant blend that hits the palate with a profile that is simply not found in most cigars, which is what helped it stand out and earn a place on this list. While it might be a tough profile to describe to someone who hasn’t smoked it, it’s an even more difficult profile to forget once you’ve smoked it because of how distinctive and enjoyable it is. — Patrick Lagreid.
