While Davidoff launched its retailer anniversary program in 2014, it seemed to hit a high mark in 2017, and the highest of the year’s releases belonged to Ambassador Fine Cigars in Phoenix, which celebrated its 20th anniversary. As in years past, Davidoff gives retailers celebrating significant anniversaries to pick from a handful of blend options, with just one size available for that year’s releases. The combination picked by the store’s owner, Vartan Seferian, was an absolute home run among our staff.
The cigar offers a constant brown sugar sweetness that balances its strength, which is consistently present yet never overbearing and allows the palate and nose to be filled with complex, flavorful smoke.
