A cigar sporting the year 2015 on a top 25 list for 2016 might seem out of place, but seeing as this wasn’t released until March, it’s fair game.

This is the fourth year that Illusione has had multiple cigars on the list, pointing towards a trend of consistency and quality. The Singularé 2015 Miserere sported fantastic construction and a full range of flavors that shifted and developed throughout the cigar, keeping you engaged and eager to see what came next.

The good news for everybody out there that loves the Singularé line is that three sizes—Phantom, Anunnaki and Miserere – will be regular production cigars now. These also happen to be our highest rated Singularé releases, with original scores of 91, 92 and 93, respectively. While the team didn’t get to vote on the Phantom as it was before the creation of halfwheel, the Anunnaki did rank on the 2014 top 25 in second place. While we ranked the Miserere a couple of spots lower than the Anunnaki, it’s still in the top echelon of cigars we reviewed in 2016. Whatever the scores and whatever the ranks though, the point remains that these great cigars will be all be available again, which is something I think we can all agree is great news.  — Brian Burt.
