At this summer’s annual IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Tatuaje will introduce a variety of new sizes to the Verocu line as a regular production release. This weekend and next, two stores in the northeast will get a preview of one of those cigars this month.

The Tatuaje Verocu No.3, a 6 x 46 corona gorda, will be available this Thursday and Friday at W. Curtis Draper’s stores in Washington, D.C. and Bethesda, Md. Next Friday they will be at Federal Cigar’s 94th anniversary party. Both W. Curtis Draper and Federal will each receive 150 boxes.

Verocu was introduced in 2007 as an extension to the Havana VI line. It features a stronger blend and remained limited up until the release of the Verocu No.5 in 2010. Tatuaje’s Pete Johnson has said that the company will expand the Verocu line to include more regular production sizes in 2015, although he told halfwheel he had not finalized details on all of the sizes.

The Verocu No.5 will be available nationally at the July trade show in boxes of 20. Suggested retail pricing is $8.50.

This is the third exclusive cigar that will be available at Federal’s anniversary celebration. The New Hampshire store will also be receiving the Quesada Selección España Churchill and the launch of the Flor de las Antillas Maduro from My Father.
