This years’ Tatuaje TAA will arrive a bit earlier than expected.

Pete Johnson of Tatuaje informed halfwheel that the Tatuaje TAA 2016 will begin shipping next Monday. This is the sixth Tatuaje TAA release, though this year’s version is not an entirely new cigar, rather the 6 1/4 x 50 is described as a rerelease of the Tatuaje TAA 2012.

The TAA blend uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It traditionally has shipped in late summer.

It is an exclusive release for members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America, a group of approximately 80 retailers that meet each spring for a convention and trade show. For the last few years, multiple manufacturers have offered exclusive cigars to the group under the TAA ESP program.

The suggested retail price is $11.95 per cigar and it is limited to 4,000 boxes of 20 cigars.

Tatuaje and My Father are the only manufacturers which have not shipped their releases for 2016. Exclusive cigars from CLECrowned HeadsDrew EstateLa Flor Dominicana, La PalinaPadrón and Nat Sherman have already arrived in stores.
