For the second consecutive year, Italy will be receiving an exclusive Fausto.

And just like last year, it will be a Fausto internal blend but with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. This year’s cigar is the Fausto IT MM19, a 5 3/8 x 52 parejo. It uses the same internal blend of Nicaraguan as the regular blend, but the Ecuadorian habano maduro that normally adorns Fausto cigars has been replaced by the aforementioned Mexican leaf.

Johnson told halfwheel there will be 400 boxes of 10 cigars produced and the cigar is expected to arrive in the third quarter of 2019.

Last year’s release was the Fausto V551, a 4 3/4 x 48 parejo. The first production run was 200 boxes but Johnson said it would be an ongoing release.

Tatuaje is distributed in Italy by Lubinski S.R.L.
