At the 2014 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Tatuaje showed off the new Halloween Series, a single robusto-sized line of cigars that was scheduled to go on sale at the following year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

It was supposed to be another exclusive cigar from Pete Johnson offered only to retailers who attend the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

Only, last July’s trade show came and went. No Halloween Series.

The 4 7/8 x 50 robusto will debut this weekend at Fujioka’s Wine Times in Honolulu. For the time being, Halloween Series will be an event-only cigar used only for events attended by Johnson himself or K.C. Johnson, Sean “Casper” Johnson or Dan Welsh.

Johnson told halfwheel the blend uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, but declined to comment further. The cigar does have a covered foot.

In addition, he said that he hasn’t made up his mind about how Halloween Series will be used beyond its event-only purposes.

The event at Fujioka’s is also the debut of the Tatuaje K 222.
