In the continued theme of items from the past returning to cigar store shelves, another familiar box made a reappearance this weekend.

The Colecciones del Rey sampler, a six-cigar sampler from My Father and Tatuaje, was offered for sale at Serious Cigars’ Texas Cigar Festival.

Colecciones del Rey Sampler 2017 open

The sampler includes all six blends in a 5 1/2 x 52 belicoso size:

  • Tatuaje Havana VI
  • Tatuaje Selección de Cazador
  • Tatuaje Cojonu 2006
  • Don Pepín García Cuban Classic
  • Don Pepín García Series JJ
  • Cabaiguan Belicoso Fino

Only the Tatuaje Cojonu 2006 and Cabaiguan Belicoso Fino are regular production items outside of the sampler.

A couple small changes have been made from the original sampler. While all the cigars are the same, packaging for the Don Pepín García Cuban Classic and Serie JJ belicosos is updated from how it looked in the mid-2000s. In addition, the newer samplers have a solid wood front instead of a wood front with a window.

Sales and distribution are handled by Tatuaje.
