The Tatuaje CQ2 will return to Mission Pipe Shop of San Jose, Calif. on May 24.
While the CQ2 name hasn’t been used before, the cigar is a rerelease of the Mission Pipe Shop CQ1 that debuted in 2013. As for the cigar, it’s a 5 3/4 x 52 belicoso that uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
Much like another store exclusive that returned this year—the Little Boris—some other retailers will receive the Tatuaje CQ2. Pete Johnson previously said that Mission Pipe Shop will receive the majority of the 1,000 box release in May. A select list of other stores will receive the cigar in June.
It is priced at $12 per cigar.
