The new Nicaraguan line debuted last year at InterTabac 2022 in Dortmund. It will debut stateside and be on shelves at American retailers in July.

Day 4 of Puro Sabor featured the official grand opening of a new factory, plus a visit to a factory I haven’t seen in several years.

Villiger’s first three TAA exclusives were made at three different factories. Next year’s release, its fourth TAA Exclusive, will be made at AGANORSA’s Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A. factory in Estelí.

No, it’s not made in Miami.

The Villiger Exclusivo U.S.A. is a Nicaraguan puro made at the La Zone Cigar Factory. It’s offered in two box-pressed sizes.

While it’s made in the Dominican Republic, it celebrates the company’s Miami office and the friends, colleagues and customers who visit it.

For the first time since IPCPR 2018, Villiger Cigars North America is exhibiting at the summer cigar trade show. Rene Castaneda of Villiger says the company is back with the best blend it’s released to date.

This spring, Villiger released its third release for the Tobacconists’ Association of America, a limited edition only available at some of the country’s top tobacconists.

While the cigar has a new name and new band, the blend remains the same.

No, it’s not made in Miami.

Expect to see the new cigar on the shelves of TAA retailers in the coming days.
