The 1865 Project is a regular production, three-vitola line from Rocky Patel that was released late last year to commemorate the date of June 19, 1865, otherwise known as Juneteenth.

The Bala vitola is the company’s unique perfecto shape that has been used for other blends in the past. Unlike the regular production Sixty by Rocky Patel sizes, this cigar is round.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of The 1865 Project will benefit The Juneteenth Foundation. The new three-viola line is made at the company’s TAVICUSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve is offered in Corojo and Maduro formats. Retailers that wish to carry the cigar will need to order it from Phillips & King.
