Three lines, four vitolas, and 100-count boxes.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Asylum Anniversary Series is offered in 11/18 and 7 x 70 sizes. This year’s Asylum 12 features a new blend and, for the series’ first time, cigars in tubos.

The massive 9 x 90 cigar now comes in red tubos.

Asylum is no stranger to putting two different cigars in the same box. Serenity Now is the Connecticut cigar while Insanity Later uses a darker habano leaf.

The cigars formerly known as “Deadwood Tobacco Co. Chasing the Dragon” are returning to stores with new names and new looks.

It joins the Eiroa PCA Exclusive 2023, which also began shipping to stores this week.

The new line is made with a tobacco called Pinareño, a Cuban-seed tobacco not normally grown by the Eiroa family due in large part to its susceptibility to disease and the difficulty that comes with cultivating it. 

The Asylum 11 is a barber pole, the first time that the Asylum Anniversary Series has used the unique-looking wrapper design.

CLE had plenty of new cigars to show off, along with some new features to the booth.

It’s the company’s latest venture into aromatic flavors via exotic tobaccos.
