Tabacalera USA, the Imperial Tobacco subsidiary that oversees premium cigars, has announced that it will be rebranding the Cigar Inn stores in Manhattan to Casa de Montecristo by Cigar Inn as it looks to expand the reach of its Casa de Montecristo brand.

The company purchased the two Cigar Inn stores last year. While Imperial also owns the JR Cigar brand, it has opted to not brand the stores as JR Cigar locations.

Casa de Montecristo will also another location in the form of a new Miami-based store in partnership with Prime Cigar. Casa de Montecristo by Prime Cigar and Whiskey Bar is scheduled to open later this month in the Brickell neighborhood.

These stores will join existing Casa de Montecristos operated in Countryside, Ill.—outside of Chicago—and another in Boynton Beach, Fla.

A press release from Tabacalera indicates the company plans on continuing to “chance the Casa de Montecristo program,” which could mean further locations.
