STOGIES Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Room101

STOGIES World Class Cigars is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, but the cigar commemorating the occasion, oddly, won’t be a lancero.

The Houston, Texas retailer has gained national notoriety for its H-Town Series, a collection of lanceros, a size the shop has a strong affection for. But, the next exclusive is going a different route.

Instead, the Room101 Stogies 20th Anniversary Edition is a 7 x 48 churchill using a mixture of Ecuadorian, Honduran and Nicaragua tobaccos. A press release described the cigar as “medium-bodied.”

As we approached our 20th anniversary in the business we decided to celebrate by creating a unique cigar with the help of our friends Matt Booth and Dylan Austin,” said Jorge Ahued, STOGIES co-owner, to halfwheel. “We have collaborated with the pair twice before with awesome results and they didn’t disappoint.”

The cigar will be released this Thursday at the company’s annual holiday party with Room101’s Matt Booth in attendance.

“Jorge at Stogies is not only a great partner for our brand, but he is also a dear friend,” said Booth in a press release. “It is my distinct honor to take yet another step in our journey together with the addition of the new 20th Anniversary Edition.”

The Room101 Stogies 20th Anniversary Edition is limited to 200 boxes of 10 cigars. Pricing will be $9.95 per cigar or $99.95 per box.

STOGIES was founded in 1996.

Room101 is produced at Oettinger Davidoff AG’s Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. in Danlí, Honduras. The brand is distributed by Davidoff of Geneva USA.
