Southern Draw Cigars will increase its prices Aug. 1.

The company says that most of its cigars will increase 20-25 cents per cigar. It says that new warning labels and other costs associated with U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) compliance are the main reasons behind the increase.

In addition, the company has announced it will discontinue its QuickDraw Petit Corona and Short Panatela vitolas in each of its three blends. It will continue to produce the Corona Gorda.

The company says that the increased pricing “outweighs the intended value proposition of the $5-6 line of cigars.”
