Smoking is now banned in parks in Somerton, Ariz. Well, some parks. And it’s banned, but there’s no punishment for violating the ban.

The Somer City Council unanimously passed a new smoking ban at three of its parks, but fines won’t begin for at least one year. That came from the Youth Anti-Tobacco Coalition, who proposed the new law to the Council. It believed giving more people time to learn about the new law was a better idea.

Somerton is located in Yuma County, in the southwestern portion of Arizona. It has a popular around 15,000.

Last year, San Luis, also located in Yuma County, banned smoking in all of its park.
