Only a few days after formal announcements regarding the national release of the Regius Exclusivo U.S.A. were made, news of a second cigar to carry the Exclusivo U.S.A. band has been making the rounds.

Casa De Montecristo, the same Illinois store that hosted the launch party for the original Regius Exclusivo U.S.A., has announced that it will have an event on Sept. 25, 2014 for the Regius White Label Exclusivo U.S.A. In addition, an employee of the store posted a picture of the cigar on Twitter.

The use of white label in cigar naming is not new for Reigus, it released its Dominican-made White Label in 2012. Interestingly, that cigar does not feature a white main band, but rather, a secondary white band.

As we noted earlier this week, a company called Club Cubano Cigars, Inc., which is listed at the same address of Casa De Montecristo, filed for the Exclusivo U.S.A. trademark earlier this year.

By policy, Regius owner Akhil Kapacee does not provide comment to halfwheel. Quesada Cigars, which distribute Regius in the U.S., directed all questions to Kapacee.
