Yet another Massachusetts town will be making it illegal for those under the age of 21 to purchase tobacco.

As of Jan. 1, 2015, the minimum purchasing age to buy tobacco products in Saugus, Mass. will be 21. The decision comes after a unanimous vote by the city’s board of health.

Saugus is located outside of Boston in Essex County, with a population over 25,000. In August, Salem became the first city in the county to raise the minimum purchasing age to 21. Andover, Mass. has also flirted with the idea of increasing the minimum purchasing age for tobacco.
