HVC Begins Shipping San Isidro Divinos
After soft-launching at an event last month, HVC Cigars will begin shipping the newest size of its San Isidro line.
The company says it will begin shipping the San Isidro Divinos, a 6 1/4 x 48 box-pressed toro, tomorrow. Pricing is set at $10 per cigar and sold in boxes of 20.
The San Isidro line uses an Ecuadorian habano cafe wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Like most of HVC’s cigars, it is made at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.
It joins the original San Isidro Geniales (6 x 52) and the Hermoso (4 1/4 x 54).
The name San Isidro references a neighborhood in Old Havana that was made famous by Alberto Yarini, a Cuban pimp who worked there and was killed by gunfire from a rival pimp’s gang in 1910. HVC debuted the regular production line in 2016.
