San Cristobal Ovation Shipping Nationally

The latest Nicaraguan limited edition from Ashton Distributors, Inc. is heading to stores nationwide.

This week, the company is shipping the San Cristobal Ovation, a 6 1/2 x 52 Mexican San Andrés oscuro-wrapped toro extra with Nicaraguan fillers. It’s part of a recent string of Nicaraguan limited editions from Ashton, which started last year with the La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse, which returned this year.

The Ovation is limited to 3,000 boxes of 22 cigars and has a suggested retail price of $15 per cigar.

Chip Goldeen, vp of sales for Ashton, told halfwheel that the Ovation shipped in small quantities to a handful of stores that were hosting San Cristobal events over the last few weeks.
