S.T.Dupont Line 2 Slim Debuts

The smallest S.T.Dupont Line 2 is now in stores, the Line 2 Slim.

It’s part of a revamp of the French company’s iconic Line 2 soft flame lighter, now offered in various different sizes.

There will be three different versions of the Line 2 Slim offered in the U.S.

• Line 2 Slim Diamondhead Yellow — $976
• Line 2 Slim Diamondhead Palladium — $976
• Line 2 Slim Black Lacquer/Palladium — $1,036

The lighters use S.T.Dupont’s red gas and flint. Unlike the normal Line 2 models, there is no cover over the gas inlet meaning the butane canister can be screwed in without any other work.

The new versions—2.0 and Line 2 Small—also use the moniker of “Perfect Ping.” And the name is also sometimes stylized as Ligne 2 depending on the region.
