The celebration of S.T.Dupont’s 150th is continuing with a new finish for the company’s signature Ligne 2 lighter.

This finish, called Golden Hour, uses the company’s diamond head finish and three different metals. The cap is made of palladium, the main part of the lighter’s body uses yellow gold and the roller ball and flame elements are made of rose gold. In addition, each lighter has “150th” engraved on the back.

“I love how S.T. Dupont combined the yellow and rose gold finishes with Palladium,” said Les Mann, vp of sales for Coles of London, to halfwheel. “It reminds me of a luxurious timepiece (when) it’s in my pocket “

Like other Ligne 2 lighters, it features two flame nozzles allowing it to create a wider flame. To use the lighter, the user opens the flip-top lid—creating a signature pinging sound—and then flicks the roller wheel to the left using their right thumb. This turns the flint and lights the dual flames.

The MSRP is set at $1,395 per lighter. Coles of London, S.T.Dupont’s American distributor, is shipping the Ligne 2 Golden Hour lighters this week. Production is limited, but the pieces are not numbered.
