S.T. Dupont Announces Slim 7
S.T. Dupont claims its newest product is the “world’s slimmest luxury lighter.”
Whether or not the French luxury accessory company will get a Guinness Book of World Records approval remains to be seen, but at 7mm thick, it’s hard to deny just how thin the new S.T. Dupont Slim 7 is.
The new lighter uses a single torch flame and a side-action ignition that is found on the company’s popular Maxijet and Minijet torches. The Slim 7 will launch in five colors: black, white, brushed chrome and two “sophisticated metallic colours”—which appear to be a brushed rose gold and gold finish. In addition to the tiny thickness, the company claims the new lighter weighs only 45 grams.
The suggested retail price for the Slim 7 is $185.
S.T. Dupont is distributed in the U.S. by Lotus International.
