Ryan Scheper is the new director of sales for Illusione.

Scheper most recently served as regional sales manager for Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which owns General Cigar Co. and others. He’s been working with STG/General since May 2015, when he joined as a regional sales representative for General. Prior to that, he spent a little more than a year working for Oliva in a similar role.

“I’m excited to join a company with so much potential to grow and elevate to the next level,” said Scheper in a statement. “Dion’s vision aligns with my aspirations within the premium cigar industry. I look forward to meeting all of the strong Illusione retail partners, and creating new partnerships.”

It’s has been a relatively busy month for Illusione from a personnel perspective. In addition to Scheper’s hiring, Illusione named Fred Rewey as a brand strategist. Last month, Brian Motola was named the sales director at Cavalier Genève after spending five years at Illusione.
