Royal Agio Cigars USA Adds Avanti Distribution

Effective April 1, Royal Agio Cigars USA will become the U.S. distributor for Avanti Cigar Co., best known for the eponymous Avanti brand and Parodi.

“Although our brands have been available in the U.S. for up to over a century now, we feel strongly that there is continued opportunity to introduce and broaden the appeal of our brands to cigar smokers,” said Luciano Simeone, coo of Avanti Cigar Co., in a press release. “Partnering with Royal Agio Cigars USA will help provide our portfolio of brands with the additional resources necessary to broaden distribution and strengthen our overall presence in the marketplace.”

In addition, the Avanti portfolio includes the Denobili, Kentucky Cheroots, Petri and Ramrod brands.

Miami Cigar & Co. will continue to distribute the Toscano brands, which purchased Avanti in 2015, as well as the Marzio, which is produced at La Aurora using tobaccos typically found in Avantis.
