While Room101 is just getting started with its retailer exclusive Ichiban Series and has announced another retail exclusive outside of Ichiban for later this year, there will be a third project launching April 2.

It’s called El Mas Chignon, Spanish slang to describe something as “the most epic,” and it will be exclusive to Famous Smoke Shop of Pennsylvania. The line consists of four cigars: EMC #1 (4 1/2 x 60), EMC #2 (5 1/2 x 50), EMC #3 (6 1/2 x 60) and EMC #4 (7 1/2 x 60).

Yes, that’s all 60 ring gauge vitolas, a first for Room101.

“Building the Room101 El Mas Chingon really pushed me out of my comfort zone,” said Matt Booth, founder of Room101. “For those that know me, I’m more partial to smaller ring gauge cigars… When Famous came to me with this concept, I went to work on building something with larger rings, that had the same impact and stimulation as what I’m usually looking for with smaller ring gauges.”

As for the blend, it uses an Ecuadorian Habana 2000 wrapper, Honduran corojo binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Mexico.

Room101 El Mas Chingon will be offered in boxes of 10 with pricing between $65-80. The cigars are made at Oettinger Davidoff AG’s Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. factory in Danlí, Honduras. Room101 cigars are distributed by Davidoff of Geneva USA.
