The new Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro is on shelves in Cuba and expected to begin arriving at other stores around the world shortly.

Línea de Oro, Spanish for gold line, was previewed at last year’s Festival del Habano XXII, which celebrated the 145th anniversary of the Romeo y Julieta brand. This is the first time Habanos S.A. has created a regular production sub-brand within Romeo y Julieta.

There are three sizes available.

  • Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro Dianas — 5 7/10 (145mm) x 52
  • Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro Hidalgos — 4 11/12 (125mm) x 57
  • Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro Nobles —5 3/10 (135mm) x 56

In Germany, the pricing will be Є16 ($18.03) for the Nobles, Є18,50 ($20.84) for the Hidalgos, and Є19,80 ($22.31) for the Dianas. A representative for 5th Avenue Products Trading GmbH, the German distributor of Cuban cigars, told halfwheel the cigars are on their way to German La Casa del Habano stores.

Other distributors have told halfwheel they intend to begin selling the cigars next month.
