It’s only been a few months since the Neanderthal was released as a single-vitola regular production cigar, but now the line could be getting its third non-regular production extension.

Yesterday, Skip Martin of RoMa Craft Tobac teased the Neanderthal OM, a lancero that could become part of Houston-based retailer STOGIES World Class Cigars H-Town Lancero series. Jorge Ahued, co-owner of STOGIES, told halfwheel that details were still being worked out, but that a tentative release date of late January 2016 was being targeted.

Martin directed all questions to Ahued.

The H-Town Lancero Series includes 10 different lanceros from 10 different manufacturers. RoMa Craft Tobac would be the eighth manufacturer selected.  The Room101 Namakubi Ecuador H-Town, La Palina H-Town, Fratello H-Town, Alec Bradley Nica Puro H-Town, Quesada España H-Town and Tatuaje Exclusive Series H-Town have all been released, while the Four Kicks H-Town from Crowned Heads is expected this month.
