Three limited edition Aquitaine vitolas are heading to stores today.

RoMa Craft Tobac has begun shipping the new Aquitaine Mastodon and Slobberknocker, as well as the 2019 version of Saber Tooth.

The Mastodon—which originally debuted last year in the sister line to Aquitaine, CroMagnon—is a box-pressed version of the 4 1/2 x 60 Mandible vitola. It is priced at $8.70 and limited to 500 boxes of 24. The cigar was originally announced as a May release.

Much like the Mastodon, the 7 1/2 x 56 Slobberknocker size also debuted first in the CroMagnon line. The vitola is not only large but also is capped at both ends. The Slobberknocker has been a limited offering for the CroMagnon line since 2012. The initial production is limited to 150 boxes of 10 cigars with pricing set at $15 per cigar.

Finally, the Aquitaine EMH Saber Tooth is back for 2019. The 5 x 56 size debuted last year as a take on the normal Aquitaine EMH. It adds a small strip of Ecuadorian Connecticut tobacco to the normal Ecuadorian habano ligero wrapper. It is priced at $10.20 per cigar. It is limited to 500 total boxes and bundles of 24.

Internally, the Aquitaine uses a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos from three regions in Nicaragua: Condega, Estelí and Pueblo Nuevo.
