There is a new Tabaquero by Hamlet Paredes vitola, though it may look a bit familiar.

The company is now shipping the Tabaquero in a culebra vitola. Previously, the size was limited as an event exclusive.

A culebra is actually three individual cigars twisted together and then wrapped, usually with string or ribbon. The Tabaquero by Hamlet Paredes Culebra measures 8 x 40/44, longer than a typical culebra which is usually closer to 6 inches.

News of the vitola was first reported by Cigar Insider.

Tabaquero is the debut line from Hamlet Jaime Paredes, a noted Cuban cigar roller who previously traveled the world as an ambassador for Habanos S.A. In 2014, he left for the U.S. and a year later he introduced a new cigar as part of his employment with Rocky Patel.

The line uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Brazilian and Mexican binders and fillers from Nicaragua.

This is the seventh vitola for the regular line and there’s an additional size that was not widely launched.

The Tabaquero by Hamlet Paredes Culebra is priced at $36.
