Rich Krutick, the longtime head of U.S. marketing for the flagship Davidoff brand, is no longer with the company.

He had been with the company since 2006 first as a brand manager. In late 2010 he was promoted to director of marketing and moved with the company to Pinellas Park, Fla. Krutick oversaw the U.S. marketing for Davidoff as well as at various points AVO, S.T.Dupont and the company’s U.S. retail operation. His tenure included massive overhauls to both the Davidoff and AVO portfolios, as well as an aggressive retail expansion.

In 2016 he was promoted to vp of marketing and earlier this year was promoted to vp of marketing and retail for the company’s U.S. operations.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
