If you missed out on one of the 12 cabinets of Quesada España Lanceros that were released in 2013, you’ll have a chance at getting the cigar alter this month.

The 7 x 38 size of the Quesada Selección España will be the fourth cigar in STOGIES World Class Cigars’ H-Town Lancero Series. The Houston store will receive 300 boxes of 20 cigars, with pricing set at $8.95 per cigar.

“While drinking a glass of Zacapa rum with my friend Manolo Quesada, I asked him to make an exclusive cigar for us,” said Jorge Ahued, co-owner of STOGIES World Class Cigars. “There was only one choice for me and he knew it, he immediately agreed. I’m excited to add one of our favorites cigars as part of our H-Town series, the elusive España Lancero.”

Quesada Espana Lancero

This is actually the second time the cigar has been sold through STOGIES. The retailer will chosen as one of the 12 accounts to receive the España Lancero in 2013. Quesada choose 12 of its accounts to each receive a single cabinet of 50 cigars. The company has since gone on to do a similar program with an España Ninfa in 2014 and now Petit Belicoso—although the retailers are no longer chosen randomly.

STOGIES has gained notieraty for how successful its sells lanceros, typically one of the slowest movers in a cigar store. As such, Ahued has commissioned 10 lanceros from various manufacturers as exclusives for his store.

“Jorge is a dear friend and whenever we visit him he treats us like family,” said Terence Reilly, general manager of Quesada Cigars. “If he had wanted a box pressed 12 x 80 we would have made it for him. Luckily, he loves lanceros so we were happy to make him one for his H-Town Series”

Like the rest of the cigars in the H-Town Series, a special H-Town band has been added to the cigar meaning this España Lancero will carry three bands. The cigars will be released on March 25.
