As it has done for the past two years, Quesada will once again be offering a special size of its popular Selección España blend to 12 retailers, one per month, only this time the retailers will be getting double the cigars.

Next year’s limited Quesada España is a Petit Belicoso (4 1/2  x 40). The major change from years past is that the boxes will now be 100-count instead of 50. Pricing is set at $7.50 per cigar.

The Petit Belicoso will be the seventh size of the España to date. Like the Lancero and Ninfa before it, the Petit Belicoso will debut at Just For Him in Springfield, Mo. next month. The store’s owners, Christian and Jessica Hutson, are credited with being one of the driving forces behind getting the blend, which was originally only sold in Spain, into the U.S. market. In addition to being the debut store for the past two limited editions, Quesada made the store a special size for its 25th anniversary this year.

With the Lancero in 2013, Quesada selected the remaining 11 retailers randomly amongst its top accounts. This year it ditched the random selection process, something that will continue in 2015.
