In 2013, Quality Importers acquired Big Easy Tobacco Co., which gave Quality Importers, a company best known as an accessory distribution, access to not only new accounts, but new products.

One of them was Big Easy line of cigars and now, as the cigar industry descends on New Orleans for the annual IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Quality Importers is expanding the Big Easy line.

Big Easy L’Anniversaire

The new cigar is the Big Easy L’Anniversaire, described as “medium-full” the cigar uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Peruvian binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars are made by Tacasa S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, which also makes the Cult cigars for Quality Importers.

Five sizes are available: Churchill (7 x 54), Grand Robusto (4 1/2 x 54), Grand Toro (6 x 60), Toro (6 x 50) and Torpedo (6 x 54). The Big Easy L’Anniversaire is offered in boxes of 20, which are limited to 200 boxes of each size.

Pricing is suggested between $6-6.85.

Quality Importers says the cigars are ready to ship immediately following the trade show which begins on July 17.
