A plethora of lighters and cutters from Prometheus will begin shipping to stores next week.

While none of the accessories are new models, these are new design options for a variety of Prometheus’ accessories. In addition, while these are new designs, they might look familiar as Prometheus showed off the items roughly six months ago.

The Prometheus 30th Anniversary Collection pays tribute to the accessory company founded by Keith K. Park. In total there are three lighters, a cutter and a humidor, though the humidor will not ship until the holiday season 2022. The God of Fire KKP line of cigars—announced in 2019—is now listed on the company’s website as a “holiday seasons 2022” item.

Those three lighters are the Ultimo X ($110), Magma T ($150) and Magma X ($110). All three areoffered with a rose gold finish and a special version of the Prometheus logo commemorating the 30th anniversary. There is also an accompanying Cutter H ($99.95) model that features a similar color scheme.

Each of these models are limited to 500 pieces.

Similarly, all four of those models will be offered with Fuente Fuente OpusX Purple Rain “Dream” branding through Fuente Aged Selection, which is the company that sells Arturo Fuente-branded Prometheus accessories, humidors and special cigars.

The prices are the same as the Prometheus 30th Anniversary editions: Prometheus Ultimo X lighter ($110), Magma T lighter ($150), Magma X lighter ($110) and Cutter H ($99.95).

Each model is limited to 1,000 units, 500 in a black finish and 500 in a white finish.

Prometheus donates a portion of sales to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation. Since the project began in 2004, the company says it has donated more than $1.7 million to the charity, which was founded by the Fuente and Newman families.

Cigar Family Charitable Foundation is best known for its school, a campus located in Bonao, Dominican Republic, that serves kids through high school. In addition, the campus includes a clinic, activities like karate and baseball, and new schools for those looking to enter the hospitality or senior care fields. The Fuente and Newman families pay for the operation of the charity, while sales of cigars and accessories like these and other donations are used for running the school and providing food and medical care to the students, their families and the people that live in the surrounding area.

For those wondering about the OpusX Purple Rain and OpusX Rare Black Ebony Quadrato ashtray collection, Prometheus says that the second half of the shipment will ship in August. A total of 200 ashtrays—100 of each design—were made and began shipping last year. The Italian-made ashtrays measure 7.8 inches x 7.8 x 1.5. Each ashtray has an MSRP of $995, though that price includes a 10-count box of OpusX Purple Rain or Rare Black depending on the ashtray design purchased.

And if you are curious about purchasing the $11,000 OpusX Purple Rain “Dream” Humidor, Prometheus says the final 22 humidors are delayed. While they were supposed to ship this spring, they will now ship in the holiday season. The humidors measure 15 inches wide, 13 inches deep and 20 inches tall, enough to store 360 cigars according to Prometheus. Each humidor is made in France.

Each humidor comes with 100 cigars. With the exception of the OpusX Double Corona, the cigars are irregular versions of OpusX, though these are neither new releases, nor cigars exclusive to the humidor. Included with each humidor are the following:

Prometheus shipped 40 humidors last December and 13 last month.

Update (July 6, 2022) — Prometheus clarified that it shipped more humidors than the article initially stated. Also the company says it has now donated more than $1.7 million to Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.
